What is the in-house catering like?

As the famous “Ludwig Andreas Feuerbach” said "Man is what he eats". Our experienced team of in-house caterers consist of 1 head cook, 3 sous-chefs and 7 stewards. This very experienced team are skilled in the art of producing quality, delicious, exciting and nutritious meals. From continental dishes to our regional delicacies, we are very concerned with providing the most nutritional but exciting meal for your child/ward’s pallete.

Will my ward/child(ren) be forced to participate in religious activities?

We are a Christian organisation but we do not impose our religious belief on our staff or students. The hostel is open to students of different faiths and no one is compelled to follow any particular form of worship.

What is the student – staff ratio?

We pride ourselves in the ability to pay individual attention to every child. Our ratio is 1 – 10 and classroom sizes are maximized at 20 students.

Do you offer boarding facilities?

Our "home-away-from-home" hostel is a very prominent part of our school; with some children coming from overseas, together with weekly boarders from across the marine (Island). The girls are accommodated in Imade House where they are looked after by 2 House mistresses, whilst the boys reside in Julius House with their House masters.

A family atmosphere, comfortable dormitories for small numbers, good food and careful supervision all help to make life fun for the children. They can also enjoy the benefits of country life with good fresh air and space to play. Children usually make friends quickly and a team of well-qualified staff under the direction of resident House Parents ensure that all will thrive in this positive environment. Boarders enjoy evening access to all the school's facilities, including the common rooms, library, sports centre, music studio, art room and modern ICT facilities. A stimulating programme of activities, expeditions, films and sport are provided each evening and at weekends.
